Lummer allows using filament lights at home with minimal effect on your electricity bill, achieving equal or less consumption than a LED or FL bulb.
Lummer is an ideal way to design ambient lighting for museums, events or parties, changing the color and lighting of spaces as people walk by.
Lummer allows taking advantage of filament lights, which are healthier for your eyesight.
The Lummer system is made of only 2 parts: a small, portable ultrasound emitter (emitting sounds beyond the hearing range of humans and pets), which can be carried on your belt or hanging from the chest, and a receiver device mounted between a bulb and the lamp holder. The receiver “listens” the signals from the emitter and adjusts the light level per the received signal volume.
Lummer is meant to save more energy than other systems, using filament bulbs, which commonly waste more power, though are healthier for your eyesight, since the filament doesn’t have the flickering effect of discharge lamps.
Common lamps fitted with movement sensors will lit up for a fixed interval, regardless of if you were within range for only 1 sec, and they can’t tell a human from a pet passing by. PIR sensors depend on thermal changes in the surrounding area, so they can be fooled by heaters, pets, and are less reliable in summer days.
Lummer can be incorporated to any ambient: homes, stores, clubs, parties, museums, libraries, hospitals, etc. If the emitter is attached to a vehicle, it can also be used in parking lots, drive-ins, etc.
No need to replace wall switches, drill holes or install bulky ceiling sensors.
Lummer dim lights in a way that is comfortable to the eye, instead of the unpleasant ON/OFF mode of most off-the-shelf light control systems.
Lights won’t turn off if you stay still too long, like most home control sensors.
No need to pay for complicated remote controls or extra fees for a control software.
Lummer offers sensible energy savings
Lummer allows on-site lighting, just where you are and for as long as you’re there.
Lummer dim lights depending on how close you are to the bulb: the closer you are, the brighter the lamps get.
Installation can’t be easier: you only need to fit the Lummer between the lamp and holder.
Lummer is not limited to filament lights: it can be used with ANY type of lamp. Just disabling the dimmer when you want to use it with switch-mode lamps (fluorescent tubes, FL lamps, etc.), to work as a standard on/off control.
Lummer is inexpensive, meant to be fitted in all bulbs in your home or work environment, and get the best experience.
Lummer offers cost savings equal or better than most common lighting systems based on presence sensors.
